Stuttering

Two brief cases on stuttering and high blood pressure

Hi Everyone,

Pieter de Zwart from New Zealand gives us two practical uses for EFT. Note how the stuttering relief was done surrogately.

Stuttering

One of my clients, an adult literacy tutor, was so intrigued with all the variations offered by EFT  that one day when she saw someone in distress she thought she'd try to help out.  One of her students, who has a stuttering problem, was making a presentation during which he started stuttering quite badly.  So she started tapping on her fingers (only) and repeating silently, stuttering while keeping her attention on him.  After only 3 rounds he markedly improved and to his own amazement (considering his facial expressions and body language), his stuttering was almost gone. Magic!"

High Blood Pressure drops

A client suffering from high blood pressure and, despite taking medication, was still not seeing much improvement in bringing it down.  So we decided to test EFT on it.

First she took a pressure reading which turned out to be 151 over 90.  She then did 2 full rounds of EFT using 'my high blood pressure' and took another reading: 140 over 88.  Encouraged by the drop, she proceeded with another 3 rounds and measured again, this time: 132 over 82.

She was excited about that result and vowed to regularly tap to keep her pressure down.  I cautioned her that although EFT works great on symptoms, it may well keep coming back up.  The challenge and real benefit is in finding that elusive core emotional issue, or issues.  Once she addresses those (and we're working on it) the real healing will take place.  She then asked how to find the core issues.

I suggested she create a comprehensive Personal Peace Procedure list or, if really unable to locate a possible cause, consult books such as Louise L Hay's "Heal Your Body" and Christiane Beerlandt's "The Key to Self-Liberation".  Both books feature lists linking ailments and diseases with the underlying emotional or psychological reasons for those conditions.  That will then allow her to possibly discover a pattern, or at least point her in the right direction of finding that emotional disruption, which can then be worked on with EFT.
