Hi Everyone,

Learn how Rebecca Marina uses EFT to turn around negative moods and thus improve relationships.

Dear Gary,

I was inspired by Dr Carrington's new way to tap in the positive' and used it in a slightly different way in a relationship issue.

Last week, I had a great day, feeling happy and productive and then my husband came home very discouraged.  He started making comments like, "Sure wish this day would never have happened, everything that could go wrong did go wrong today, what is this world coming to, blah, blah, blah.” I could feel myself getting a little ticked that he could only see the negative.  (Well who hasn't been there after a lousy day?)

Anyway, I stayed in the bedroom and decided to 'tap in the positive' about the situation.  I did not address the negative with setup phrases, just went straight for the positive.

Tapping in...

Well, at least he comes straight home; he could have gone to a bar to drink his troubles away.

He sure has a big heart.

He does the best he can.

He sure is a great father.

He loves me so very much.

I love having him as a husband.

I know he will feel better soon.

By this time my own energy had lifted even more and I felt warm and loving towards my husband. I went into the living room and he had a big smile on his face and seemed to feel more uplifted as well.

This simple use of EFT can change any relationship for the better.  I used it again when my son overslept and felt grouchy because he feared he would be late for school.  Instead of reacting to a grouchy teen I went in the other room and tapped...

He sure is a loving kid.

Usually he gets up right on time.

I am glad he cares about being on time for school.

He gives me a lot of joy.

I was then able to handle the situation calmly and he did get to school right on time.

Gary, I believe we can generate more love and understanding by focusing on others’ better qualities while tapping them in.  How could it help but improve when you are focusing on the things you DO like about the person instead of the things you don't like?

There is no need to wait until you are in a "situation."  Think of someone you would like to improve your feelings about and start tapping in all the great things you like about them.  This technique, while very simple seems to have a great effect on both parties.  So start looking for those positive qualities and 'tap them in'!
