Relieving a violent allergy attack in 2 minutes

Hi Gary!

In this story the 2-minute miracle happened because I followed a hunch. That wild guess worked out well and relieved a violent allergy attack in 2 minutes.

GC COMMENT: In my experience, hunches or wild guesses are really forms of intuition or guidance. They are generated through our thought systems and don't really come from "nowhere." Proper use of our intuition is one of the features that separates the EFT Masters from the rest. We all have superb intuitive ability. The real trick is in trusting it.

BAERBEL CONTINUES: The other day I was a guest in a home where the Lady of the House sells herbal remedies. She had invited quite a few people to her Open House and was giving an introductory speech, when one of the guests started to wheeze. This woman finally got up and out of the room, barely able to contain herself, as she did not want to disturb the others. The speaker quickly pointed out one of her friends, a healing-touch therapist, to muscle-test the woman and find out what had caused the allergy attack.

After the speech was finished, everyone got up and started wandering around. I went to find the allergy sufferer, to find out how she was doing. It turned out, she was still wheezing, only now she had been told that some of the cookies had caused her attack. When I asked her if she wanted to learn something that might relieve her symptoms, she agreed. So we went through a quick round of tapping on the Karate Chop, under-eye, under-nose and collar-bone points only. She had told me, the worst of this was the running eyes and itchy nose. She also mentioned that she has had severe allergy attacks for more than 20 years.

My hunch was, that she felt very embarrassed having this attack in front of everybody. So we started on the Karate Chop point:

"Even though I have these running eyes and an itchy nose .... I do accept myself."
"Even though I hate to have runny eyes and an itchy nose .... I want to accept myself..."
"Even though this is really embarrassing .... with my runny eyes and my itchy nose .... but I can be okay with myself anyway.."

After each phrase I had her stop, breathe deeply and then repeat what I had said. I noticed, that she did some very deep breaths; in my experience that is always an indicator for profound positive happenings. We proceeded with the points in the face and collar-bone:

"... I hate to have those runny eyes and itchy nose ... it's so embarrassing with everybody watching me ... not able to sit still .... so embarrassing .... not being able to stop this .... disturbing the others .... "

".... and now I choose to relax a little ... to calm down ... it's not the end of the world ... having runny eyes and an itchy nose .... nobody is really watching .... just me being embarrassed ... but I'll be okay .... and I deeply and completely accept myself and my allergies!"

And there it was again: the EFT miracle. She was down to "maybe a 1?"... and done with it. Always nice to watch the relief coming in and the amazement about "where did it go?"
