Hi Everyone,

Esther H. Avinoam from Israel found that just tapping for her sore left leg wasn't enough. There is a good lesson in this article for everyone.

Hi all,

Last night I woke up with my left leg hurting very badly.

I had walked a lot more than usual the day before, and it probably was the reason for this level 10 pain I felt in the middle of the night.

I sat on my bed, still rubbing my eyes, and between two yawns decided to try EFT on the the pain.

I started: "Even though I have this really strong pain on the top of my left leg I love and accept myself".

Reminder phrase: "This strong pain in my left leg".

I tapped once and managed to reach a 6. I did EFT another time ... and REMAINED at 6. I had to find that something that was getting on my way.

It couldn't be PR because I did the Setup anyway (I always do it) and my breathing was balanced, and I was around no allergens... So what was wrong?

I went back and said: Pain is caused when the normal flow of energy through the body is disrupted. The place that hurts is usually the one where the "energy traffic" gets stuck.

I went back to my EFT and changed the statement:

"Even though the energy flowing through my body is disrupted at my left leg, I love and accept myself." I did this once.

Then I went on: "I want to release all the things that block the flow of the energy through my left leg." I did this once as well.

Then: "I want to REPAIR all the things that block the energy flow through my left leg."

Then I said: "Even though my blood circulation is stuck on the top of my left leg, I love and accept myself."

Then, again repeated the "Release" and the "Repair" steps, this time for the blood circulation. One round for each.

At the end of it all, I was down to a 0. I went back to sleep... it was a great feeling!

All that just to tell you that working on only the pain doesn't always work ... Sometimes one has to address the deeper level of the problem, that is, the flow of blood and the flow of energy that are not working as they should and CAUSE the pain.

I hope these insights will be helpful to you.

Regards,

Esther H. Avinoam
