Success with surrogate tapping for a crying child

Hi Everyone,

You can learn some surrogate tapping ideas from this article by Justin Hess. He says, "I did zero physical tapping. I simply used my mind to tap on the points.  At some of the points where I had a loss for words to tap on, I did my best to put myself in the position of the child, and feel the feelings for whatever he was crying about (feeling icky, pain, sad, etc)."

Hello Gary,

I have been learning and using EFT for a couple of months now and am completely in love with it! I've dumped so much negativity in that short time period, much of which I had no idea was even there until I started to tap. So THANK YOU for that a million times over!

I always enjoy getting your newsletter and the articles I read in there, so I thought I would share one of my own regarding surrogate tapping.  I work at a health and wellness center and the other day there was a young child there that started to cry, and I mean a real wailer.  On and on it went to the point that I started to feel bad for the kid, as well as it being disruptive to my work and the work of the rest of the staff (not to mention the rest of the clients).

So I got the 'try it on everything' thought in my head and away I went.  I sent out my intention that I would do nothing against his free will or against the greatest good before proceeding. Then I used some basic EFT setup phrases and went through the basic tapping points. I did ONE round of tapping and the child instantly ceased his crying, I cannot help but be amazed at this! WOW!

The reason I am sending in this report instead of the many others I have, consists of these points that in my opinion make it stand out and sort of brand it with the 'try it on everything' logo.

It was surrogate tapping. The child had no idea, nor did anyone else.

I did zero physical tapping. I simply used my mind to tap on the points.  At some of the points where I had a loss for words to tap on, I did my best to put myself in the position of the child, and feel the feelings for whatever he was crying about (feeling icky, pain, sad, etc).

That ONE round of tapping was all it took until a few hours later I heard him start to cry again, just a bit, not like before. I immediately did another round of basic tapping, just one, to follow up for whatever was left. The crying immediately ceased and I didn't hear another peep out of him for the rest of his visit.

Thanks for this amazing healing tool.
