Hi Everyone,

Patzia Gonzalez-Baz from Canada gets specific on this "love pain" issue and generates success in one EFT session. After the session she says, "I then asked Mia to go over the whole event in her mind and try to get her intensity up, but she just couldn't do it. When we were done, Mia's face was shining, and she said a weight had lifted from her shoulders."

Hugs, Gary

By Patzia Gonzalez-Baz

Dear Gary:

Mia came to see me because she had severe neck and shoulder pain. I asked several questions regarding the pain, including when it had started. She said ten years ago. I then asked: What had happened ten years ago? Mia's eyes immediately filled with tears and she couldn't speak. I started tapping on her, saying "This sadness".

When the intensity had gone down, she had very shallow breathing and rated herself at a four on a scale of 0 to 10 for Constricted Breathing.

Even though I have this constricted breathing...
Even though I still have some of this constricted breathing...

After a couple of rounds, Mia could breathe freely and she could tell me what had happened. She had been in love with a man, and was hoping they would get married. I asked her, "If this incident was a movie in your mind, how long would it be?" It was a five minute long movie, with an intensity of ten! When I asked her for a name, she called it: "Being dumped movie." We tapped on:

Even though I have this Being dumped movie... until her intensity was down. When we started tapping, she was very agitated and occasionally would make a "this is weird" face as the disturbance in her energy field was being smoothed out.

She could now start telling me the movie. She and this man had been together several years, and were very much in love. Or so she thought.

Even though I thought we were in love...
Even though I believed him when he said he loved me...

One day, out of the blue, he told her he was leaving: he had gotten another woman pregnant.

Even though he got another woman pregnant when he was my boyfriend...
Even though he left me, and I loved him so much...
Even though I was devastated when he told me he had gotten another woman pregnant...
Even though I felt so betrayed...
Even though I felt there was something wrong with me...

Mia felt betrayed and wondered what was wrong with her, why had he preferred someone else? What did this other woman have that she didn't?

Even though I believe she has something that I don't...
Even though I can't understand why he was going out with another woman...
Even though I feel so hurt...
Even though I feel there must be something wrong with me...

Mia couldn't believe she was feeling so calm and that the tears had disappeared. I asked her to tell me the movie once again, and she could do so calmly, to her surprise. I then asked her to sit in a chair across the room, and sit like this guy, become the guy and have him say whatever he needed to say.

Mia got up and stretched a bit, and then she sat down in another sofa. She sat like "John" and took a minute to get into the part. Then she started speaking to Mia as "John". He said: it was a guy thing, you were never meant to find out, but she got pregnant. When she told me she was going to have the baby, I knew I had to take responsibility for it, for my child.

At this Mia looked startled, "Oh", she said, "it never had anything to do with me. I can respect his decision." I asked her to go back to her seat where we tapped on:

Even though I've been carrying this for years, I accept myself, and I forgive myself for whatever I contributed to this situation, and I forgive him, he was doing the best he could.

I then asked Mia to go over the whole event in her mind and try to get her intensity up, but she just couldn't do it.

When we were done, Mia's face was shining, and she said her neck pain was gone and a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.

Thanks Gary
