My Client was  a young lady (age 30) and she had a big fear of flying.

She had never been on an airplane. She just couldn’t, and because of this, she missed many job oppurtunities.

She noticed this fear of flying when she graduated from the University and had to go to a far city by plane. At that moment, before buying her ticket, she realised that she has a flying phobia and could not go on an airplane..

Her 0-10 intensity level was “ beyond 10” in her own words..

So I began tapping;

Even though I have this fear of flight, I  love and accept myself...

I did a complete set up at the beginning. 

The intensity barely came to 10 from beyond 10 !

While tapping I  asked  her about the aspects of her flying phobia..

(It is very good to continue tapping on your client while talking and asking questions. This way, you are solving many small issues even without the client even noticing them)

Are you afraid of the unknown because you have never been on an airplane before?

Answer- No.

Has anyone told you about  experience of turbulence ?


Have you ever watched a movie about planes and accidents?

Answer-yes, but this does not trigger my fear.

Are you afraid of tight places, can you use the elevators?

Answer- I am not afraid of tight places, I can even go to a solarium tank.

Can you  go to a balcony at a high building ?

Answer-yes I can, I do not have a fear of heights.

Are you afraid of losing your control at an airplane?

Answer- YES, YES.. I know that I can not leave it when I wish, I do not like the feeling of my feet taken off the ground.

* **When did you first feel your feet off  the ground then ?***

Answer- when I was 15 years old, at the carnival, we went to a  turning wheel, when we were at top, they stopped it, I was very afraid, I screamed “take me out of this, please stop it,” but nobody listened. My friends laughed at me a lot. Without stopping, the wheel made two more rounds. When we were out of it, I was sick, I had nausea, my head was turning and I had a feeling like someone hit me with a fist in the stomach.

At that moment, I knew that I had reached the CORE ISSUE..

So, I decided to use the movie technique because this would be quicker and without the need of working on every aspect of this phobia.

I asked her to put a name to her experience and imagine vividly all of this experience like watching a movie.

This film would have all the actors in the scene; the wheel, laughing friends, the merchandise guy who did not stop it, and herself at age 15 screaming and panicked with nausea and feeling her feet off the ground  etc..

She named it; Wheel of Hell.

Then we tapped again and again with  short cuts..

Even though I had this Wheel of Hell movie, I deeply accept myself..

Tap, Tap…

I realized that I am afraid of flying because of this  “Wheel of   Hell movie”  of mine ,I love myself..

Tap, Tap..

In just seconds,very quickly, her intensity level came to ZERO. The Beauty of EFT, is this; you can go to the CORE ISSUE VERY quickly.

Then use your imagination and create a movie of her/his own with your client. Make the desensitization. Take the SUD level to zero. Let the energy flow freely again. And give them the most beautiful gift; self help and Emotional Freedom, with EFT.
