Balance Problem

A young woman about 23 years of age was diagnosed with an inner ear infection and had lost much of her balance. She was, at the time I saw her, on steroids and rocking like a boat in the wind trying to stabilize herself. This was going on with her for about 3 weeks. We tapped several rounds and she was still pretty bad. So I asked her if there was anything emotionally going on.. even if she wasn't sure ... perhaps something that possibly was responsible for the problem.

Well, it just so happened that she had some serious issues with her father and she visited him just before her symptoms appeared. So, we tapped, and we tapped and we tapped. We had many issues, and after about another 45 minutes, she still looked like she was a small boat in high seas! It was early in the evening when we finished. I followed up 2 days later to find out that her symptoms were almost gone the next morning and had disappeared the day after. She is now 5 days later doing cardio boxing!!

Hi Gary,

I thought you might be interested in what happened to me today! I was going to the podiatrist because I was experiencing a lot of pain from a corn.

As I was getting ready to go it struck me that I had not tried EFT on it. So I began tapping and as I got to the doctor's office my foot did not hurt at all and I swear the bump went down. The doctor explained that I would

have to go back in a few months because the corn would grow back but I just know I will never have to go back again. I guess I tap on so many things and so many people that I forgot you can tap on anything--even a corn!!!!!

Dear Gary,

I love this technique. I have had a lot of good results using it with physical symptoms. Headaches, neck tightness and pain, sugar cravings, etc. I used it on my chemically sensitive daughter when she was in a full meltdown after a perfume-filled day at school. It helped with the emotional symptoms but didn't hold well.

With my autistic son, I tapped one night as a surrogate for "focus and attention", "hearing what people are saying", "better social connection" and "neurological symptoms". The next morning, for the first time, he got dressed without prompting at each step while watching the news on television. An absolute first. Doing two things at the same time. This didn't carry over to the next day, but I was impressed. I think that the chemically injured, as well as much of the autistic population are, well, full of toxins and this makes tapping and the results of tapping inconsistent. I'm also chemically sensitive and get my best result tapping in the shower (well water, no chlorine).
