Helping a restless child to go to sleep</

This brief article by Tony Rinkenberger shows a useful way to use EFT for allowing restless children to go to sleep. When the child sleeps, of course, everyone benefits...even the parents (smile).

I was introduced to EFT via an internet search about a year ago. I have twins, a boy and girl, who are 3-1/2 years of age. I recently noticed that the boy was having trouble settling down for bed. He would lay down but flip back and forth trying to get comfortable for about 15 minutes at a time. I decided to try EFT.

I used a combination of saying the set up phrase "even though I feel restless..." to myself and tapping on him, I also tapped along the spine as suggested in a recent EFT newsletter and then ended with a soothing light back rub. He settled right down and fell asleep within 5 minutes without all of the turning and flipping.

What I find amazing is that at age 3-1/2 he now recognizes when he needs to tap for falling asleep. As he puts it, "Tap and rub please, Papa".

Wow!
