Linda Brummett Shares Her Webinar #127 Insights On Beliefs
"This to me is validation that we are illusions and as illusions
we can change whatever needs to be changed."
When you were giving the introduction to this new series designed to collectively raise our belief ceiling, several things came to mind.
My thought: If we are truly an illusion, then everything is possible.
Interestingly enough, I have just started my fourth reading of “A Course in Miracles”. Sunday’s Workbook Lesson was #15, “My thoughts are images that I have made.” I have Light Episodes all the time, including around my own self and, though I did not know what they were, I remember having them as early as junior high school. This to me is validation that we are illusions and as illusions we can change whatever needs to be changed. Just like a person editing a movie, they can delete scenes, add scenes, or change the out-comes.
Why not us?
The Unseen Therapist reminded me of a dream I had in 2016. From my dream journal I wrote:
“I was outside standing on a ladder looking over a twelve-foot wall into a small, square, walled courtyard that had a paver floor. I was checking to see if it had been cleaned up. Then a person to the left of me said “Why don’t you just use the unlocked gate into the courtyard?” I said to him, “Why use a gate when you have a perfectly good twelve-foot wall available to climb up on?” My thought after I wrote down this dream was: Is this my life? Am I struggling with brick walls when there are gates available?"
Today I believe the wall represents my ego which I am trying to get across, and you, Gary, are the person who just unlocked the gate on the ground floor. I now need to choose; stay on the ladder looking in, or go through the gate. Think I’ll choose the gate, can’t wait to see where this will lead us.
Writing on our walls – The Palace of Possibilities: Writing on my walls: It is a big room, with high white walls with lots of writing. However, one of the tall walls had no writing on it at all. The wall was grayish in color and at the bottom were very small people moving from the left to the right than fading away. They were shadowy figures in dark browns and grays, chanting heave ho, like a chain gang moving down a dirt road at dusk, going to a dark and gloomy place. They just disappeared as they came to the corner. They have no real space in my room or on my wall any more. They were the people I used to work for, the ones who discriminated against me. My wall used to be completely full of their writings, now there is almost nothing left.
Somehow, this is a statement that I have completed freeing myself of years of negative work events. Not sure why here, now, or how this relates to Webinar 127.
You introduced the Love Sponge Metaphor: I am in my room with all the writing on my walls. I am getting larger as my love sponge is being filled – as a ratio, there is more of me and less space in the room. My love sponge first takes the shape of “Sponge Bob” before becoming serious and taking the shape of my physical body. I see Anne’s Unseen Therapist take Anne’s hand and holds it a while in prep of going out of the room. I take hold of Anne’s other hand, then I had a strange thought, is this my Unseen Therapist holding her hand? Are there two Unseen Therapists? When we see The Unseen Therapist supporting the person we are sending love to, do we combine as one or are our spiritual selves independently represented?
You had 120 people sending love to Anne, so Anne’s room should have been filled with 120 spirits or one? Does this make any sense to you or is this just ego chatter? GC RESPONSE: Love is best when shared, however we do it.
Final thought I had at the end. Anne is a Teacher, teaching us how to use our God given perfect gifts.
Wonderful Webinar! Thank you!
With love, Linda Brummett
