Bringing peace to a cringing kitten

Here's a case for your "Try EFT on Everything" file. Penny Swann took in an abused kitten who cringed every time someone raised their hand to pet her head. Although she could have tapped directly on the kitten, she chose to hold the kitten and tap herself surrogately. Success.

I recently purchased your intro videos. I'm almost through the whole set and have learned much. I wanted to add to your "Try EFT on everything" catch phrase.

I have a kitten, she's around 6 months old and has joined our home in the last month. She was "raised" to her young age in a college environment, lots of people around and they had worn the poor little thing to a frazzle.

Within two weeks of living in my peaceful home (no children) she had almost doubled in size and was significantly healthier (mostly because she was allowed to sleep). But she cringed every time you raised your hand to pet her head. She had obviously been hit many times. Not a form of discipline I favor, but how to convince her of that.

I held her in one arm and tapped on myself, "even though I have been beaten..." I did it twice and she is so much better, she no longer cringes--it worked!

The other day she was having a terrible day, she just acted grumpy, couldn't settle down, and bit everything (including me). I decided she was teething and decided to see if the EFT would work again. Again, I held her in my arms and tapped on myself, "even though I am teething..." I did this until she calmed down in my arms and started purring (3 times). She has been peaceful ever since (2 days).

I don't know how you would do it for a larger animal you couldn't hold, but it seemed to work for this little kitten. Thank you for saying to "Try EFT on everything." :-)

Sincerely,
Penny
