Hi Everyone,

Greetings Gary,

A year ago I had a seizure and was taken to the hospital. After an emergency CT scan and MRI, I had brain surgery where the surgeon discovered, and operated on, an AVM (arteriovenus malformation) or bleed in the brain. When I woke up from the surgery, I was paralyzed on my right side. I was in the hospital for 6 grueling weeks and in physical therapy for 6 months. I finally went back to work 8 months later, but still had weakness and pain on my right side, in my shoulder and arm, plus continual dizziness. Despite all this, I re-learned how to drive and was functioning as best as I could.

I was doing as much healing work on my own while investigating new avenues for healing when I discovered the EFT website. I ordered all the DVD's and have been studying them and helping my friends with their issues and pain, with much success. I taught the basic recipe to some of my co-workers, and even my boss. All of them found it interesting, but no one had really seen it in action because I told them about it without doing sessions with them.

This last week, I had a seizure episode at work. It was very intense, with lots of pain and quite frightening for all concerned. I felt like I was being electrocuted from the inside, out. My boss and I were in the hallway, when I suddenly couldn't move my right leg. She helped me to sit down and ran to call 911, because I was starting to seize up. When she came back, I asked her to please tap. I asked her several times, "please tap, please tap" and I showed her, with my good hand, where to tap on my face. I also motioned for her to tap on my collarbone point. Apparently an EMT from the building arrived, and she began to tap on that point while my boss tapped on my face points. No words were necessary...I was in the thick of it...my heart was racing, I didn't know if I was dying, my breath was shallow and I was scared to death. The tapping calmed me down very quickly. My heart stopped racing, and I was able to stay conscious, not lose any bodily function, and was able to answer all of the questions that the EMT's asked.

I went to the hospital and had a CT scan, which showed that I didn't have a stroke or TIA. I went home that evening and went back to work the next day. I am positive that without the EFT, the event would have been even more frightening. I am so glad I learned how to do the tapping routine, and also instructed others who are with me on a daily basis. You never know when it can help you with your own traumatic event. Thanks Gary. I look forward to more and more tapping.
