This course is not about diet and exercise. Rather, it is about why our will power fails so miserably when we try to follow those diet and exercise regimes that we know will solve our weight issues. It is about that compulsion to raid the refrigerator when we are not hungry. Some call it "nervous eating" while others call it "medicating oneself with food." We call it Emotional Overeating.  Whatever you call it, it is that sense of anxiety or unrest that fattening "comfort foods" seem to temporarily tranquilize. All other weight loss issues sit on top of that foundation. If you solve THAT problem then the rest of the issues tend to fade and will power becomes less and less necessary.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is ideally suited for this.  Accordingly, we will be teaching you the same heavy duty EFT procedures that have, since 1995, brought relief from draining emotions to multitudes of people.  I'm talking about liberation from food craving emotions such as anxiety, trauma, fear, grief and anger ... the same powerful process that has provided internal peace to hundreds of combat veterans.  We are looking to bring you that same tranquility and, to do so, we are putting in your hands the most imitated healing method in history.

So our goal is to reduce or eliminate that sense of pervasive emotional unrest. Without it the emotional need to tranquilize (overeat) fades and the refrigerator becomes just another piece of furniture. Fewer trips to the refrigerator for fattening foods means fewer calories and that, in turn, leads to weight loss. That's a simple formula ... and do-able with EFT.

But it won't happen overnight and it won't happen at all if you don't apply EFT with appropriate diligence. I'm not giving you a magic switch here. Rather, I'm giving you a powerful process that, to the extent it is followed, aims you at an ever expanding sense of personal peace. This can lead not only to weight loss but also to freedom from addictions, better relationships, fewer negative emotions and better health as well as more smiles, love and happy times. That's far more than you asked for and should give you plenty of motivation to proceed.
