Introducing ... EFT Academic Certification. The only valid EFT credential, now available directly from the source.
The primary goal in developing this program is to emphasize EFT video instruction as the standard, and to bring consistency to the instruction and practice of EFT. After making its way across North America, to Europe and dozens of other countries around the world, many different styles and variations have been developed. The EFT Certification Program is designed to distinguish the original instruction from the other interpretations, and encourage anyone using EFT to build their skills on a consistent foundation.

The EFT website is the international source of EFT training and resources. Accordingly, thousands of prospective clients visit our website every month looking for experienced, certified EFT Practitioners. By obtaining this Certification on any level, you can benefit from exposure to those clients by listing your practice on the EFT website.
NOTE: EFT Certification is not the only consideration for listing your practice on the EFT website. There are fees and other requirements, so please refer to the Practitioner Listing Requirements page for more information.
The exams will be based largely on comprehensive Study Guides designed for each level of training. These Study Guides are essential tools for learning EFT, and are available as a free download for anyone to use. (see links below). At this point, only the Foundational and Intermediate Levels have been released.

Exam Credit for previous credentials
With the introduction of the EFT Certification Program, it has become necessary to discontinue all previous EFT credentials. This is because those programs were either administered inconsistently or became obsolete. For those who feel genuinely disadvantaged by this policy, we are providing a waiver for the full price ($300) of the EFT Foundational Level Exam (EFTCert-I). Here are the details:
- Offer Expires January 1, 2010. Your registration for the EFT Foundational Level Exam must be submitted on or before that date.
- Offer applies to anyone who genuinely feels disadvantaged by our policies, and who was awarded one of the credentials listed below before June 6, 2008 (the date we first announced the new Certification and indicated that the previous credentials were outdated). Credentials that qualify are: EFT-CC, EFT-ADV, EFT Workshop Level 1, 2, or 3 or any EFT Certifications awarded to you by anyone else.
- Note that not everyone feels disadvantaged. Many support our policy changes as healthy and necessary and thus may not choose to apply for this waiver.
- To apply for the exam fee waiver, wait until your studying is complete and you are prepared to take the EFT Foundational Level Exam. Register for the exam just like anyone else, but before January 1, 2010, and check the box indicating that you are qualified for the waiver. Further instructions will be emailed to the address you provide, in which you will be asked to mail a copy of your valid, dated certificate evidencing your previous credential to EFT, PO Box 269, Coulterville, CA 95311, postmarked within a week of your registration. Once we receive your certificate, your exam login information will be emailed to you and you will have 30 days to take the exam.
- If you fail the EFT Foundational Level Exam, you will be given another opportunity to re-take it within 30 days. If you fail the second try, then you may re-apply under the normal rules but the $300 fee from that point forward will not be refunded.
- Those who have already paid for the EFT Foundational Level Exam before 6/20/2009 , qualify as above , and genuiely feel disadvantaged, can submit a refund request postmarked before January 1, 2010, as follows: Mail your request with a copy of at least one valid, dated certificate evidencing your previous credential as EFT-CC, EFT-ADV, EFT Workshop Level 1, 2, or 3 or any EFT Certifications awarded to you by anyone else before June 6, 2008 (the date we first announced the new Certification and indicated that the previous credentials were outdated). Send the certificate to: EFT, PO Box 269, Coulterville, CA 95311. Within 30 days of receipt of the above we will refund your $300.
